Biography

Lauren was raised in Chicago, IL, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biological Sciences from DePaul University. She went on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University.

Lauren has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and has previously served as a psychotherapist and group therapist for a hospital system in South Texas. She now practices in San Marcos, Texas, where she provides therapy to adults navigating a range of mental health concerns.

She has received additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Lauren is especially passionate about supporting clients through life transitions, developing healthy coping strategies, treating insomnia, and promoting women’s mental health.
