Biography

Karsta Marck, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UTHealth Cizik School of Nursing in 2021 and brings nearly three years of experience as a hospitalist nurse practitioner at St. Luke's Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Before becoming an NP, Karsta worked a decade as a registered nurse. Her nursing experience includes medical-surgical nursing, the Cardiovascular ICU, and the ICU float pool at Houston Methodist, where she cared for critically ill patients across multiple intensive care units, the PACU, and the Emergency Department.

Originally from Minnesota, Karsta moved to Houston in 2016 and is now proud to call it home. She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients, emphasizing preventive care, and partnering with individuals and families to achieve their best health. Outside of work, Karsta enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, traveling whenever possible, and visiting family in both Minnesota and Belgium, where her husband is from.
