EKG (Electrocardiogram)

An EKG is a quick, painless procedure to identify various heart problems. It can detect things like arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm) or narrowed arteries in your heart that may indicate coronary artery disease. If you have a family history of heart disease, or are having symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath, an EKG may be performed.
