Biography

Dr. David Kucher earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and completed his Family Medicine residency at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital. His training included comprehensive outpatient care and inpatient management at a 261-bed hospital, with additional focus in critical care, obstetrics, and pediatrics.

He chose family medicine for its breadth and the continuity across generations. During residency, he also pursued global health work, including a month-long rotation in a remote hospital in the Peruvian Amazon, an experience that sharpened his resourcefulness and deepened his commitment to patient-centered care.

Dr. Kucher prioritizes clear communication and well-informed, thoughtful care, ensuring patients have the knowledge they need to make confident decisions about their health. Additional clinical interests include preventive care and health optimization, integrating nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle strategies into everyday medicine. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their whippet, and playing competitive disc golf.
