Meet Jennifer Howell! 

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, I’m a proud PA who’s passionate about making a difference in primary care. After completing my PA studies at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando, FL, I dove into hospital medicine before discovering my true calling in primary care in Raleigh, NC.

Fast forward a few years, and life brought me back home to be close to family when my husband and I welcomed our second little one in 2020. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Blackwood, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful patients I’ve had the honor of caring for.

Now, with four amazing daughters, life is definitely full—but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Between staying active with the girls, exercising, and soaking up the sun at the beach and pool, there’s never a dull moment. I also have a love for volleyball and hope to join an adult league soon once life slows down a bit!

Being a primary care PA isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. Building long-lasting relationships with my patients is the highlight of my career. Thank you to my coworkers, family, and friends for being my support system through it all.
