Biography
Lindsay was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia but grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland since she was five years old. She attended Montgomery College, obtained her bachelors in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County and proceeded to attain her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University on December 2008. Lindsay has nine years experience working with physiatrists, helping patients rehabilitate. She is excited to be joining Dr. Covarrubias and his excellent team, and she looks forward to helping patients maintain good health and prevent diseases. She is fluent in Spanish.
In addition to her love for medicine and quality care, Lindsay is co-founder of Koinonia Childrens Ministries, a non-profit that advocates for children in various countries. During her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, swimming, running, writing, and playing the piano.
