Biography

Ashley was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Pickerington, Ohio. She graduated from Pickerington High School in 2002, where she played Golf and Basketball.

She attended West Virginia Wesleyan College where she played intramural Basketball and was a sister of Alpha Delta Pi. She returned home in 2005 to help care for her Grandparents and finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. She was a nurse at The Ohio State Medical Center for 13 years. She began caring for Solid Organ Transplant patients before moving to the Neonatal ICU where she spent the remainder of her career. During her time she also worked in the OSU OB/GYN Clinic, Perinatal Education, and as a Lactation Counselor. She served in multiple leadership roles within her departments.

Over the years, her passion for caring for and educating women grew and in 2019, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife from the University of Cincinnati.

After graduating, she worked at PrimaryOne Health, providing gynecological and obstetrical care to women of all ages. She joined Columbus Metropolitan OB/GYN in January 2025. Her practice interests include routine obstetrics, gestational diabetes education, lactation education and support, Infertility, general gynecology, birth control management and menopausal medicine.

Ashley is a mother of three and has been married to her husband, Steve, since 2008. Their kids keep them busy participating in a variety of sports and activities, including basketball, golf, lacrosse, swimming, orchestra, and church programs. Their home is lively with two cats and two dogs as well. As a family, they love all things Disney—especially going on Disney cruises. She is also an active church member, serving on multiple committees and attending youth events and mission trips as an adult sponsor. She also serves on the Golf and Basketball Booster Boards to help support the programs her children participate in at Pickerington North.
