Biography

Dr. Pomerants specializes in robotic surgery for gallbladder and hernia repair. He also performs surgery for dialysis catheter placement, colon and appendix related surgery. He provides surgical treatment for breast cancer and other skin related procedures. He has special interest in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Pomerants also does breast cancer surgeries and other skin related procedures. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Pomerants is also part of the staff of Select Specialty Hospital. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Pomerants is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital where he served as chief resident. He has over 24 years of general surgery experience and has been named in America’s Top Physicians 2010-2017.
