Personal Interests

Drs. David and Vicki Van have 2 children. Their son, David, is attending medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Their daughter, Lauren, is completing her degree in Finance at Tulane University's Freeman School of Business.

When she is not practicing medicine she enjoys spending time traveling, golfing and photography.

Biography

Dr. Vicki Van was born and raised in Tidewater, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Virginia Tech, graduating with honors. Following her undergraduate training, she attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where she received her doctor of medicine degree.

After completing medical school, Dr. Van served her internship and residency at the obstetrics and gynecology Department of Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia, part of the Medical College of Virginia. She completed training and advanced ultrasonography and high-risk obstetrics at Yale Medical University. During her residency, she met her husband and practice associate, Dr. David Van. In 1987, they moved to Griffin, Georgia, and established McIntosh Trail Family Practice.

In 2001 the Drs. Van established La Maison Derm Esthetics - a skin care division of the practice dedicated to the development of healthy, beautiful skin offering aesthetic skin care solutions in the form of dermal fillers, anti-aging skin care products, laser therapies, skin tightening and much more. All providers of the medical spa are certified and licensed in their field of expertise.
