Biography

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience in healthcare and a strong foundation in patient-centered care. I graduated summa cum laude in December 2024 from Columbus State University, earning my Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree. I have been a registered nurse since 2009, with the majority of my clinical experience rooted in Emergency Medicine, where I developed strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to provide compassionate care in high-acuity settings.

My healthcare career began in 2003 in phlebotomy, which laid the groundwork for my commitment to direct patient care and clinical excellence. Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of nursing roles, including clinical instruction, school nursing, float pool nursing, home health, and infection control. These diverse experiences have allowed me to care for patients across the lifespan and in varied clinical environments, strengthening my adaptability and holistic approach to healthcare.

I have been nominated multiple times for the DAISY Award, a reflection of my dedication to compassionate, patient-focused care and professional excellence. Caring for patients brings me both joy and fulfillment, and I have always believed that this profession chose me rather than the other way around. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to providing high-quality, empathetic care while continuing to grow professionally and serve my community with integrity and purpose.
