Biography

Dahlia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston. Originally from Sacramento, California, she has a clinical background in primary care, oncology, behavioral health, and high-acuity nursing. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients and providing compassionate, evidence-based care that considers the whole person.

As a native Spanish speaker, she is also passionate about providing accessible, culturally responsive care and connecting with patients. She believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their health and was drawn to Healthy Steps for its focus on prevention, wellness, and holistic patient-centered care.

In her free time, she enjoys staying active through fitness and weightlifting, dancing, playing music , reading, traveling, and discovering new restaurants and cafes in the DMV.
