Over 27 Years of Global Experience at Your Service

For more than 27 years, I've been dedicated to providing exceptional primary care. My journey started in India, where I earned my medical degree. However, my passion for medicine led me to further specialize in hematology and oncology in both Japan and Bangladesh. Following my residency in internal medicine at South Brooklyn Health, New York, I thrived in a fast-paced, diverse environment, treating patients from all backgrounds.

Before coming to the US, I gained valuable experience working in both high-tech tertiary hospitals and low-resource settings. This exposure allows me to deliver exceptional care regardless of the situation. I'm also passionate about collaborative healthcare. In the past, I've organized research initiatives and educational programs for cancer control and management. My dedication was recognized with awards like the Young Physician Leader by IAMP (2011) and TWAS Young Scientist Prize (2013).

I believe in a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on the body's natural healing abilities alongside traditional medicine. My experience with cancer has emphasized the importance of preventative care and overall well-being. I'm thrilled to contribute to Stone Ridge Family Medicine's established functional medicine practice.

One of the most important aspects of my practice is building strong relationships with my patients. I listen attentively to your concerns and strive to create a comfortable, open environment where you feel heard. My particular interest in geriatric medicine stems from a deep respect for our elder population.

Life Outside the Clinic

When I'm not caring for patients, you might find me curled up with a good book, exploring my artistic side, or venturing out to new places. Most importantly, I cherish time with my family – my husband, our three amazing daughters, and our beloved cat. I'm incredibly excited to join the Stone Ridge Family Medicine team and serve this vibrant community.
