Rachael Ferrero brings both clinical excellence and genuine compassion to her work as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Nutrition & Food Science from Wayne State University in 2021, then went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Michigan in 2024. Before transitioning to midwifery, Rachael honed her skills as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Henry Ford Hospital, an experience that deepened her commitment to supporting women through every stage of care.

Since becoming a midwife, Rachael has had the privilege of welcoming an estimated 300 babies into the world - and counting. For Rachael, exceptional care comes down to two things: safety and informed decision-making. She believes every patient deserves to fully understand their options so they can make the best choices for themselves and their family.

But what truly drives her is the long view. "The reason I became a midwife is walking with patients through all of their phases of life," she shares - from a first annual exam to pregnancy and delivery to menopause. For Rachael, midwifery isn't just a career. It's a calling to be present for women through every life change, big and small.
