Biography

Sophie Reskin is a board-certified Physician Assistant who recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She chose to work in Internal Medicine because it weaves together her passion for creating impactful long-lasting relationships with patients while being able to practice a variety of medical subspecialties.

She was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She received a Bachelor’s in Integrative Physiology with a minor in Israeli Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has a beautiful dog, Rosie, and a wonderful cat, Judah, that keep her busy and smiling. While not in the office, she loves to hike, camp, ski, and travel the world.

Sophie prioritizes a preventative and proactive approach to each individualized treatment plan. She believes that education is power, and desires to empower patients to take control of their health. As an empathetic, approachable, and hardworking individual, she is enthusiastic about practicing medicine as a provider at Healthy Steps.
