Biography

Makenna is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude in Nursing from Texas A&M University in College Station. She was a labor and delivery nurse for 4 years before going back to school to complete her Masters degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Makenna has a passion for women's health and pediatric care, as well as preventative primary care. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time outside with her fiance and two dogs.
