Biography

Dr. Witham obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in 2000 from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, completed residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2005 as Administrative Chief Resident, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2007.

Dr. Witham started his medical career as an Acute Surgical Care Surgeon for Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth and moved on to become a Trauma and Acute Surgical Care Surgeon. Before medicine, Dr. Witham obtained a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in 1982 and worked as an Electronics Engineer and Systems Integration Consultant for Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems.

Dr. Witham is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
