Biography

Dr. Dana Tavaniello was born and raised outside of Houston in Deer Park, Texas. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001 and Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University in 2006. She then moved to Columbus, Ohio where she completed her pediatric residency training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in June of 2009. 

Dr. Tavaniello is board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatricians and is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. She has a special interest in breastfeeding and preventative medicine. Dr. Tavaniello attends Bethel Rock House of Prayer in Newark, Ohio where she serves as the children's minister. Dr. Tavaniello married the love of her life in 2012, and they were blessed by three beautiful boys in 2013, 2014 and (a late life blessing in) 2020. She loves to serve the Lord and hopes to spread His light to those who walk through the doors.
