Biography

Walla Walla native Afton Truscott, FNP-C, is a dedicated and experienced health care professional. Prior to earning her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University, she acquired 15 years of clinical experience, primarily in adult critical care. She brings an informed and compassionate approach to the field of internal medicine.

Afton is excited to partner with patients of all ages and backgrounds to promote their health, building relationships based on shared decision making and evidence-based practices. She is honored to be providing health care in her hometown, and her clinical interests include prevention, women’s health, cardiology, LGBTQIA+ care, and helping patients clarify their end of life priorities. Beyond her work in health care, Afton enjoys various activities, including reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband, children, and parents.
