A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Méndez completed his undergraduate degree and medical education at Georgetown University. He then pursued an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Méndez has been practicing internal medicine since 2000 and has special interests in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and travel medicine.
