Biography

Linda grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and attended Thomas A. Edison High School. Her desire to become a nurse sparked while taking high school biology. After high school she went to Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington) and obtained her first bachelor’s degree. She then attended George Mason University and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was a nursing technician at Arlington Hospital (now Virginia Hospital Center) while in nursing school and after graduation continued to work there as a registered nurse, assistant head nurse and head nurse. She followed her aspirations to become a nurse practitioner and once obtaining her M.S.N. joined an internal medicine practice in Fairfax, Virginia for 3 years before changing her health care interests and entering a sleep medicine practice in Chevy Chase, Maryland. After 26 years at that center she is joining PMA Health with experience in the management of all sleep disorders and was a sub-investigator in numerous clinical drug trials for the treatment of narcolepsy, insomnia and restless leg syndrome (RLS). In her free time she enjoys engaging in her personal interest activities with her husband and son, and also has a cat and dog as members of her family.
