Biography

InspireIM is lead by Dr. Mariaileen (Mollie) Sourwine, who was originally trained as a biomedical engineer at Penn State University.  She subsequently earned her medical degree and completed internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland. After working for years in primary care, she realized the limitations of traditional medical practice and pursued additional training in integrative and functional medicine through the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine and the Institute for Functional Medicine.  Her unique background allows her decipher the complex and integrative nature of human health and disease and help lead patients through the intricacy of the healthcare. She is dedicated to developing a partnership with each patient to best understand the underlying cause of disease and ideal path for optimal wellness.
